Ric Toone
Strategic video lead

I'm not a conventional videographer or producer. I mean, yes, I do do that... but I'm really interested in the bigger picture.

01 Background & what I'd bring

More, better video.

I ran my own video production company for ten years, creating meaningful and contemporary content for UK organisations including Macmillan, Johnson & Johnson, the NHS and the BBC. I'm experienced across all the technical, creative and operational aspects of video production, and I use AI workflows to deliver better video within days rather than weeks.

AI-powered workflows speed up production and strengthen the narrative, without compromising authenticity.

Crafted around the needs and interests of your different audiences, especially the decision-makers, in the right format for each, from films and animation to social cuts and podcasts, for better engagement and impact.

Focusing your content on the audiences that matter most to your mission.

Video that's more closely, intentionally and consistently aligned with your brand.

Video made in a more engaging, novel, creative and contemporary way.

I'd be working with your marketing team, not over them. I'd be a facilitator of the marketing plan, just making sure video is properly executed for better results.

02 Why video
20×

Video is the fastest growing format on LinkedIn, and shared around 20 times more than any other kind of post.

It's the only format where your audience actually sees and hears a real person. Used properly, it's the most powerful brand-building tool you have, and that's where I come in.

03 What I'm looking for

I've got a clear idea of how I'd like to deliver video in a more strategic way. Who I do that with, and how I'm contracted, is completely open to discussion, whether that's a permanent role, a contract, or a few projects to start.

I'm also open to roles that lean more towards business development or account direction, where my commercial background comes in alongside the creative side.

So this isn't a fixed pitch, it's an invitation to talk. If you've got something in mind, even if it doesn't fit neatly with any of this, I'd be glad to hear from you.
